Biography

Dr. Ritam Arora specialises in corporate laws. Her academic interest includes competition law in developing economies and mergers and acquisitions. She completed her doctoral studies in competition law from the University of Hong Kong as a post graduate scholarship awardee. Her doctoral thesis analysed the issue of competition dysfunction in the Indian digital landscape. She holds an LL.M. in corporate and commercial law from the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK, and a B.A.LL.B. (Hons) from Amity University.

During her doctoral studies, she received a scholarship for a research stay at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich, Germany. She has presented her research at several international forums and has previously taught competition law and mergers and acquisitions at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun.
