Biography

Dr. Anjana Thampi is Assistant Professor of Economics at Jindal Global Law School. Her areas of research include climate and sustainability, food security and nutrition, inequality, gender, and labour. She received her PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University and was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Massachusetts Amherst under the Fulbright-Kalam Climate Fellowship for Postdoctoral Research. Her recent and ongoing projects include job creation through climate adaptation, gendered inequalities in wealth, and the impact of food provisioning programmes in India.
