Biography

I am a heterodox economist with interdisciplinary expertise spanning climate justice, voting analysis, property rights, political economy, mental health, and gender studies. Focusing on challenging mainstream economic paradigms, my research critically examines the intersections of justice, democracy, and freedom through both empirical and philosophical lenses. Drawing from diverse theoretical frameworks, I explore foundational questions in political economy, focusing on how institutions shape social outcomes and seeking to understand how policies can be more equitable and just.

Beyond research, I am deeply committed to the dissemination of knowledge. I believe that access to information is a fundamental human right and advocate for open access to academic resources and public knowledge, underscoring its vital role in sustaining societies. I aim to bridge the gap between academic research and societal applications, fostering an inclusive and critical dialogue around pressing socio-economic issues. My work is deeply rooted in a philosophical inquiry into existentialism, probing into the possibility of a just society grounded in democratic principles and a nuanced understanding of freedom.
