Anjana Thampi is Assistant Professor of Economics at Jindal Global Law School. Her areas of research include food security, inequality, gender, labour, climate and sustainability. She received her PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She has published journal articles and book chapters and contributes opinion pieces. Her recent and ongoing projects include examinations of the impact of food provisioning programmes, the crisis of inequality, women’s employment and land ownership in India.
