Adwait Mitra is an Assistant Lecturer at the JGLS and a Public International Law enthusiast. Adwait completed his under-graduation in law with First Class honours from the Department of Law, University of Calcutta. During his study there, Adwait was actively involved in various activities, travelling all over the country and abroad as a Public speaking coach and has also delivered lectures on Criminal Law and Offences against children as a panellist. He has also worked in different legal chambers, working out of the Calcutta High Court and various tribunals.
He subsequently pursued his LL.M. from the London School of Economics and Political Science, specializing in Public International Law. During his stay in London, he served as a public speaking coach to local institutions.
His interests lie around International Criminal Law and the Politics of International Law, and their cross-section with Human Rights Law.
