On 17 January 2020, Ms. Erin Watson Lynn presented a lecture on “Implementing the Indo-Pacific: An Australian Perspective” at O.P. Jindal Global University as part of the India Immersion Programme. Ms. Lynn is the Head of Programs at Perth US Asia Centre, Perth, Western Australia. The session revolved around the discussion on the increasing significance of the Indo-Pacific region and the historical developments that the region has witnessed. The session started with a brief overview on the geographical elements of the Indo-pacific region and how its location imparts it a huge leverage in terms of the geo-politics of the modern times.
