Biography

Dr. Jyoti is an Assistant Professor at Centre for Writing Studies, O.P. Jindal Global University, Sonipat. She is trained in sociology (and social anthropology) and has taught various sociology subjects at Delhi University. Currently she teaches critical reading and academic writing papers across schools and batches here at Jindal University. She has published journal articles and book chapter based on her M. Phil and PhD work around the creative and explorative painting style of Modern Indian Painter Jamini Roy and Production processes of Health communication media for selected Government health programmes, respectively. She is currently working on the themes of Visual literacy, Visual Pedagogy, Empathy, and Ethics in Birding practices in India.
