Biography

Mr. Mohammad Jilani is an Associate Professor of Practice (Spanish) and faculty coordinator for the STSAP at the University of Granada, Spain. He teaches the Spanish language and its Culture. He holds a B.A., M.A., and M.Phil. from the University of Delhi and a Master’s degree in Spanish language teaching and its culture from the University of Granada, Spain. He has also done courses on teaching Spanish for Business purposes from the Instituto Cervantes and the University of Granada, Spain. He has more than 15 years of experience in teaching, research and consulting in his areas of specialisation.  He has taught Spanish language and Culture at the Centro de Lenguas Modernas of the University of Granada, the University of Delhi, and Bharatiya Vidyapeeth University. He was a visiting professor at Centro Lenguas Modernas of the University of Granada, Spain. He was an advisory board member of the Academic of Foreign Language and Cultural Co-operative at Magadh University, Bodhgaya, Bihar. His research interests include Intercultural Competency, the use of technology and audio-video in Spanish Language Teaching and being an expert in teaching Spanish for Business purposes. He has participated in international conferences and published several research papers. He organizes Short Term Study abroad programme at the University of Granada, Spain, during summer and winter breaks and cultural events such as Salsa and Tango workshops for students at JGU.
