Biography

Dr. Ramyyata Tewari is a. academic with a PhD in Criminology from Police University, Jodhpur, where her research was focused on crimes against children. With a deep commitment to advancing the understanding of crime and its impact on vulnerable populations, her academic interests span across several critical areas. These include forensic psychology, which explores the intersection of mental health and the law; crimes against women and children, where she examines patterns, causes, and effective measures for prevention and justice; and victimology, which delves into the study of victims, their experiences, and how they can be supported through the criminal justice system.

In addition to her academic work, Dr. Tewari is an advocate for strengthening the collaboration between the Criminal Justice System and academia. By fostering a deeper understanding between practitioners and scholars, she aims to bridge the gap between theoretical research and its practical application in law enforcement and legal processes.

Dr. Tewari actively participates in various initiatives, workshops, and forums that bring together professionals from both fields to share knowledge, insights, and innovations. Her work not only contributes to academic discourse but also has real-world implications for improving how justice is delivered, particularly for women and children, who often face unique challenges in the system.
