Biography

Dr. Siddharth Soni is an accomplished academician, researcher, and author in the field of Psychology, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Jindal School of Psychology and Counselling. He holds his Ph.D., Master’s, and Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), one of India’s most prestigious institutions. With over seven years of teaching and research experience, Dr. Soni’s academic expertise spans Positive Organizational Behavior, Organizational Psychology, Applied Psychology, and Mental Health.

Dr. Soni’s doctoral research examined Perceived Job Stressors, Positive Psychological Capital, and Organizational Commitment, highlighting his strong scholarly interest in employee well-being, resilience, and organizational effectiveness. He has an impressive research profile with more than 20 publications in Scopus, UGC CARE-listed, refereed, and Web of Science journals, and has received recognition for academic excellence, including a Best Paper Award. He also serves as an editor of a UGC-listed academic journal and is an active member of various national and international professional bodies. Alongside his academic role, he actively works as an expert consultant, providing professional consultancy services in psychological and organizational domains.

In addition to his research contributions, Dr. Soni has played significant academic leadership roles. He has chaired sessions at conferences, evaluated postgraduate dissertations and doctoral theses, and organized academic conferences, seminars, and workshops. His prior academic responsibilities include serving as a Program Leader, where he mentored and managed large student cohorts, contributing to curriculum implementation and academic quality assurance.

Dr. Soni is the author of a book on Social Psychology and is currently working on a forthcoming book in the same domain. His broader research interests include workplace mental health, psychological capital, resilience, health psychology, social well-being, and organizational development. Deeply committed to teaching excellence and research-driven practice, Dr. Soni continues to contribute meaningfully to higher education, student development, and the advancement of psychology.
