Biography

Dr. Anirudh Shidganesh is a Psychologist with more than 10 years of experience. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Jindal School of Psychology and Counselling. He earned his PhD in Social Sciences from IIT Roorkee and completed an RCI-approved MPhil in Rehabilitation Psychology. His academic expertise is complemented by certification as a REBT Practitioner, along with dedicated practice in Yoga and Martial Arts. This uncommon combination allows him to bring together scientific rigor and holistic approaches to health and well-being.

Dr. Anirudh has qualified both the UGC-NET JRF and MH-SET. He works to empower students, professionals, and researchers through research training, mental health support, and practical strategies for human flourishing. His research interests include stress, coping, psychological strengths, and well-being across diverse populations such as military personnel, individuals with disabilities, and student communities. He also emphasizes everyday biopsychosocial aspects of well-being (SWASTH) i.e. sleep, workout, appetite, socialization, time management, and hobbies. These areas, often overlooked, play a decisive role in building resilience and enhancing quality of life.
