Biography

Dr. Smriti Pathak is a dedicated faculty member in the field of psychology, specializing in decision making, emotion, and mental health. With a strong academic background and extensive research experience, Dr. Pathak has made research contributions to the understanding of how emotion influences decision-making processes.

Dr. Pathak completed her Ph.D. at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, under the guidance of Prof. KBL Srivastava. Her doctoral research focused on investigating the role of emotion, working memory, and decision style in decision making. Through her research, she has shed light on the intricate relationship between emotions and the application of decision rules.
