Biography

Madhumita R Dhupar is currently an Assistant Professor at the Jindal School of Psychology and Counselling at O.P. Jindal University. Madhumita completed her joint Ph.D. from  the University of Queensland (Australia) and Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Her thesis area was on creating a digital behavioural intervention for senior school teachers on addressing classroom behavioural concerns. With 6 years of work experience , her research interests spans from social psychology, developmental psychology , adolescent mental health to teacher behaviour and mental health. Apart from her research experience in publications, she was also invited as a co-presenter for keynote address with Professor Purnima Singh (IIT Delhi) on ‘What it means to be a child in the digital age: The Indian perspective’ at the International Psychological Forum “Child in the Digital World” held by the Psychology Institute, Russian Association of Education. (2022, June).  A regular reviewer for Psychological Studies (Springer Nature), she enjoys researching qualitative techniques to study niche topics in her interest areas.
