Dr. Karishma Godara is a clinical psychologist and mental health researcher. As an undergraduate English honors student, she decided on a whim to opt for psychology as a minor. This choice sparked a deep fascination for the subject, leading her to pursue a master's degree in the field. She further went on to do an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology (RCI) from the Institute of Mental Health, University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, where she wrote a dissertation on the personality traits and motivators of individuals seeking treatment for alcohol dependence syndrome. She did her doctoral studies at O.P. Jindal Global University specializing in behavioral addiction.
Karishma’s career spans a diverse blend of research, clinical practice, and teaching roles at esteemed institutions such as the National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, the Translational Health Science and Technology Institute, Faridabad, and O.P. Jindal Global University.
