Dr. Akancha Srivastava is an experienced academician with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Psychology at Jindal School of Psychology and Counselling (JSPC), she possesses a robust educational background. Dr. Srivastava finished her psychology undergraduate degree at the University of Allahabad in India. She pursued her MA in Psychology at the same university after laying her foundation. She successfully completed her Ph.D. at the Defence Institute of Psychological Research (DIPR-DRDO) Delhi, in MoU with Bharathiar University Coimbatore, as the pinnacle of her academic career. Dr. Srivastava has held major positions throughout her career, including JRF and SRF positions at the Defence Institute of Psychological Research (DIPR-DRDO) and employment with the esteemed Indian Institute of Management, Indore. Her experience extends to research, teaching, and administration. Dr. Srivastava has also demonstrated her proficiency in handling audits at her previous workplace. As a resource person, she has successfully conducted webinars, workshops, and other academic activities. She has done consultancy project with Brain Behavior Research Foundation of India (BBFRI), New Delhi. Her contributions to the field are evident through publications.
Dr. Srivastava has completed her Ph.D. from DIPR-DRDO, Barathiar University, Coimbatore. Her area of specialization is Organizational Behaviour. Her work is based on employee engagement. Her Ph.D is titled as “Antecedents And Consequences Of Employee Engagement In R&D Organization”. The study examined the selected individual as well as organizational predictors and consequences of employee engagement in Defence based Government R &D organization. During her tenure in DIPR DRDO she has assisted in completing number of projects based on armed forces. She has also the exposure of writing case-based scenario in the field of organizational behavior.
