Biography

Jemuel Ribes is a Hispanist and foreign language educator from Spain whose interests center on the intersections of language, history and literature, with a particular focus on the history of the pre-Roman and Roman Iberian Peninsula as well as medieval literature and poetry. He graduated from University of Lleida (2015) and went on to specialize in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language with an M.A. from Rovira i Virgili University (2016), where he also conducted Spanish language courses.

His international teaching career spans Spain, Ireland, and India. He previously taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Spanish language, literature, and history at Delhi University, engaging students in both linguistic proficiency and cultural analysis. In addition to his teaching, he collaborates with Instituto Cervantes as a certified DELE examiner, contributing to the evaluation of official Spanish language proficiency examinations. His professional trajectory reflects a strong commitment to advancing the global presence of Spanish language and culture through pedagogy.
