Since its inception in 2017, the Jindal School of Journalism & Communication (JSJC) has emphasized the need for the appropriate infrastructure, equipment and facilities that are required in order to train the modern media professionals and filmmakers.
It has therefore been its constant endeavour to acquire and use the best equipment and infrastructure as part of its training and instruction process, especially with regard to the radio, television and multimedia courses taught to its Journalism and Media Studies (JMS) students, the technical skill courses taught to the Film & New Media (FNM) and Corporate Communication & Public Affairs (CCPA) students.
We understand the need for a continuously iterative process of establishment, expansion and upgradation of communication technology .
This note lays out the broad contours of JSJC’c current complement of studio spaces, equipment and other technical resources available for practical instruction within its three programmes. It is intended to provide the broad strokes of what is available, rather than as an exhaustive catalogue or inventory of these resources.
