Biography

Chao-Ping Shih received her Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Literature with a minor in English from National Taiwan Normal University. She holds a Certificate in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language issued by the Ministry of Education, Taiwan, R.O.C., as well as an International Chinese Teacher Certificate issued by the Taipei Language Institute.

Ms. Shih was awarded a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) grant and served as a Mandarin instructor at Benedictine University in Illinois, United States, during the 2022–2023 academic year. Her academic interests include language pedagogy, cross-cultural communication, and contemporary Chinese literature. Outside of teaching, she enjoys practicing yoga, reading, and writing.
