Biography

Raghav Dua is Lecturer at the Jindal School of International Affairs (JSIA) and Programmes Lead at the Jindal India Institute (JII) of O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU). His research and teaching interests lie at the intersections of Indian philosophy, politics and international relations. He also plays an active role in institution-building at JGU, particularly through his work at JII.

JII was established in January 2024 as JGU’s flagship initiative to spread awareness about India amongst the international community. Raghav is the Institute’s founding team member and has played a key role in establishing its structure and activities from the ground up. Since its inception, he has led the development and implementation of a range of initiatives at the Institute, most notably the M.A. India Studies programme, the first full-degree Master’s in India Studies offered by an Indian university, for which he currently serves as Faculty Co-coordinator. In his current role as Programmes Lead, he handles the Institute’s strategic coordination and guides its day-to-day planning and activities.

Raghav is also an alumnus of JGU. He earned an M.A. in International Relations, Security and Strategy from JSIA, after completing a B.A. in Global Studies from Ambedkar University Delhi. He also serves as Editor-at-Large on the editorial board of E-International Relations, the world’s leading open-access website and publisher in the field of International Relations (IR), with an annual readership of over 3 million.

He is deeply interested in South Asian languages and literary traditions and is currently learning the Urdu script, working on improving his Hindi and immersing himself in the layered worlds of Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi poetry and prose.
