Harnit is an Assistant Professor of Practice at Jindal School of International Affairs. She has a B.A. in Political Science from Agnes Scott College, Georgia, USA; M.Sc. in Asian Studies from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and M.B.A. from the Hult International Business School, San Francisco, USA. Her research interests include the geographic area of the Asia-Pacific and South Asia and covered issues pertaining to democracy, development, maritime affairs, transnational organizations, human rights etc. She has worked for think tanks, refugee-NGOs, governmental agencies and a start-up.
