Biography

Dr. Tatiana Belousova is an Assistant Professor at Jindal School of International Affairs (JSIA), OP Jindal Global University. She teaches the following courses: IR Theory & Concepts; War, Peace, and Diplomacy; and The New Cold War between US and China. In JGU, Tatiana is a member of the School Doctoral Committee, the Institution of Eminence (IoE) Committee, and Unfair Means Committee (UMC) for JGLS online programmes.

In the year 2019, she received her PhD degree at the University of Kerala, Department of Political Science. Her thesis was “State Public Policy and Internationalization of Higher Education in Kerala.” Prior to this, Tatiana completed her post-graduate studies at the St. Petersburg State University (Russia), Department of World Economy. From 2005 to 2012, she participated in several capacity building programmes in Australia, EU, and India.

Tatiana joined JGU, first, as an Assistant Professor in the International Institute for Higher Education Research and Capacity Building (IIHED). Together with other colleagues, she co-edited a book, titled “Global Higher Education During and Beyond COVID-19: Perspectives and Challenges,”, Springer, 2022.

Following her passion for the field of International Relations, Tatiana joined JSIA in 2021. Dr. Belousova’s research interests are Russian foreign policy and Central Asian affairs. Her latest single-authored research article is “Understanding the South Africa-Russia Relations through the Constructivist Concept of ‘State’s Identities”, published by the African and Asian Studies, Brill, 2024.
