The workshop aims to provide fertile ground for academic discussion, exchange of ideas, and valuable mentorship and feedback opportunities for graduate students in all disciplines of the social sciences with a view to prepare their work for publication and dissemination in reputed peer-review journals. Seats at the workshop are limited to ensure greater scope for applicants to receive detailed comments and discussion on their submissions.

The theme for this year’s workshop is The New Worlds of Labour. Submissions from all disciplines of the social sciences and Public Policy are welcomed. Submissions can cover – but not be limited to – the following themes:

  • Wages, earnings and income distribution.
  • Labour conditions and the economics of labour.

On selection, applicants are requested to submit full papers before the deadline. Applicants who do not submit full papers in time will not be selected, and their spot might be given to other applicants. These full papers will be circulated amongst faculty discussants and other workshop participants to enable greater discussion during the workshop.

Participants selected for the workshop will receive full boarding and lodging for the duration of the conference at O.P. Jindal Global University. Accommodation will be provided on a sharing-room basis. Airport and train station pick-up and drop facilities will also be arranged.
