JSES invites you to the Lecture & Discussion on Monday, 7th April 2025 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm on Environmental documentaries and journalism through ‘Vihangam' and 'Yamuna : River of Gods and Human’ by Mr. Abhay Mishra, Author & Film Maker (Riverine Culture).

About the Speaker: 
Mr. Abhay Mishra is a dedicated thinker and regular writer regarding important issues related to rivers, water-wisdom, and environment with adequate experience on these subjects. He has published more than 100 articles on issues related to the environment and rivers in ‘The Print’. He has directed several documentaries on water-wisdom and related environmental aspects. His published books are Vihangam- culture history of Ganges, published by Penguin, Chullu Bhar Kahani, Mati Manoosh Choon, Dar Dar Gange.
As a writer on environmental topics, his attempt is to understand the interrelationship between humans and environment, culture and environment, mythology and environment and several other possible permutations and combinations.
