JSES equipped me with the foundational and applied skillsets necessary to thrive in the interdisciplinary field of environment and sustainability. The program’s focus on both academics and practical exposure helped me intern with organisations like WWF, UNESCO, and DRDO-DIHAR (where I worked on organic farming and food systems in Ladakh).
With access to cross-electives in key environmental domains, I was able to integrate scientific, policy, and management insights into my learning journey. My dissertation under the mentorship of the JSES faculty strengthened my research and analytical skills.
Through JSES’s network, I am working as a fellow in the Resource & Sustainability Group at Development Alternatives, an organisation pioneering eco-solutions in areas like clean technologies, circular economy and community driven sustainable development. This role has given me the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that bridge scientific innovation with social change, further strengthening my commitment to sustainability.
