My journey at the Jindal School of Environment and Sustainability (JSES) has been nothing short of transformative, both personally and academically. I would be lying if I said I was a hardcore environmentalist when I joined, but JSES has ignited a passion within me for the field, a passion to study and innovate. This was possible because of the exceptional faculty here who, every day, with every lesson, strive to foster an environment that promotes thinking. The professors took the mundane textbook lessons and transformed them into something exciting. Every one of them encouraged us to speak up, share our ideas, and create our own solutions. My choice of pursuing a Master's in Energy and Environmental Engineering was not a decision made lightly. My three years at JSES were foundational to guiding my future endeavours. My learning and experiences here have shaped my understanding of the environmental field and highlighted what was lacking. Now I strive to make contributions that will fill in this gap and drive the world towards a more sustainable tomorrow. With the support and guidance of the Office of Career Services, I secured a placement aligned with my interests and goals. I will always cherish my time at JSES and am grateful to everyone who played a role in shaping me into who I am today.
Currently pursuing Masters in Energy and Environmental Engineering from University of Leeds, UK.
