Prof. Abhishek Kumar

Abhishek Kumar is a faculty in the Finance & Accounting Area at the Jindal School of Banking and Finance. He teaches courses on Risk & Insurance and Indirect Taxes. He has submitted his Thesis titled ‘Essays on IPO Valuation’ at the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow. His Thesis discusses the institutional factors that explain the cross-country variation on IPO under-pricing, aftermarket performance of Foreign IPOs, and the impact of financial regulations on primary markets. His research interests include Primary Markets, Corporate Finance, and Management Accounting.

Prior to his PhD, He completed his B.com (Hons.) and M.com (Finance) from the University of Delhi. He cleared the UGC NET-JRF (Commerce) in his first attempt.
