Biography

Dr. Pooja Kapoor is an Assistant Professor and Assistant Dean (Office of Academic Affairs) at the Jindal School of Banking & Finance (JSBF). She is also the program coordinator for the B.Com (Hons.) Capital Markets at JSBF and is a member of the Office of Strategy and Planning. Dr. Kapoor holds a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) and is UGC-NET qualified, and a recipient of the award of the Junior Research Fellowship in Management in 2017.

She has published in ABDC and SCOPUS-listed peer-reviewed international and national journals. She has also presented her doctoral research on inflation expectations and perceptions at the World Congress of the International Economic Association and at IIT Nagpur. Dr. Kapoor has served multiple times as a teaching assistant for the NPTEL online certification course ‘Econometric Modelling.’

Prior to her Ph.D., she completed her Bachelor's in Economics (Hons.) from Kalindi College, University of Delhi, and her MBA in Finance from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. She also gained corporate experience at Cvent India Pvt. Ltd. for over a year and a half after finishing her MBA.
