Biography

Md Kashif Ansari is an Assistant Professor of Finance at O.P. Jindal Global University, where he also directs the CRAFT and Bank Research Centre. He teaches income tax, GST, corporate finance, personal financial planning, and banking products, and researches the growing use of AI in finance and education. Before joining Jindal in 2023, he taught for seven years at Hans Raj College, University of Delhi, and served on the committee that drafted Delhi University's first NEP syllabus for income tax and corporate tax planning. He holds an M.Phil and an M.Com from the Delhi School of Economics and cleared the UGC NET-JRF. He completed an executive program on AI in Teaching and Research at the Wharton School, is an ASEF (Asia-Europe Foundation) Fellow, and holds a Junior Research Fellowship. His certifications include NISM qualifications as a Research Analyst and an Investment Adviser. Outside the classroom, he writes and speaks widely on personal finance for a public audience of roughly 20,000 on X. His commentary has appeared in Mint, Economic Times Wealth, The Ken, and Deutsche Welle, and on finance podcasts that have drawn more than 1 million views. He has designed and led financial literacy and credit-card training for RBI Grade B officers, Boeing India, Target, and TrueBalance, and has presented research at international conferences throughout the world. Much of his work connects academic finance with practical financial literacy for everyday people.
