Biography

Dr. Radhika Goyal is an Assistant Professor at the Jindal School of Banking & Finance (JSBF), O.P. Jindal Global University, Haryana, India. She has completed a doctorate in finance from the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. Her research sits at the frontier of finance and technology, examining how FinTech is reshaping bank performance, risk-taking and sustainability in emerging economies.

During her tenure at IIT Delhi, she worked as a project associate on the research project titled “Technical Textile Industry in India: Opportunities and Challenges”, sponsored by Ministry of Textiles, Government of India (GOI). Her research contributions have been published in prestigious international journals, including Research in International Business and Finance (ABDC-A) and the International Journal of Finance and Economics (ABDC-B). Dr. Radhika has presented her work at notable conferences organised by eminent institutes, such as the Finance and Accounting Research Symposium at London, United Kingdom; the World Finance & Banking Symposium at Abu Dhabi; and the Research Symposium on Finance and Economics (RSFE) at Krea University, Sri City, with a focus on Fintech and ESG practices in emerging economies.

Prior to her doctoral studies, Dr. Radhika earned her Master of Commerce (M.Com) from the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com Hons.) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi. She has also served as Head of the Department of B.Com at Vidya Knowledge Park, where she taught Income Tax, Cost Accounting, Financial Management and Business Statistics, and brings two years of industry experience as a Senior Consultant at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL). She cleared the UGC-NET examination with Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in 2016 and 2019, was upgraded to Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in 2022, and is a recipient of IIT Delhi’s Research Scholars Travel Award.
