Biography

Professor Navya Bagga is a Lecturer at the Jindal School of Banking & Finance (JSBF), O.P. Jindal Global University, Haryana. She is in the final stages of completing her Ph.D. in Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior from the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. In addition, she has served as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Huddersfield, United Kingdom. She holds a Master of Commerce with a specialization in Human Resource Management from the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. Her research lies at the intersection of career management and employee well-being, with a particular focus on the careers of vulnerable groups, especially individuals living with chronic illness. Her work examines how individuals navigate career transitions, make disclosures and build sustainable careers, employing qualitative and mixed-methods research methods.

Navya has presented her research at leading international conferences, including the Academy of Management, the British Academy of Management, and the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed ABDC A* and A-ranked journals. She qualified for the UGC NET JRF examination in 2020 with a percentile of 99.73. She is also a recipient of the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi's Research Scholars Travel Award and Research Excellence Travel Award.
