Biography

Dr. Mudit Shukla has a doctorate from the Indian Institute of Management Indore. His doctoral research focused on decoding the role of social norms in the organisational setting, particularly, their effectiveness on task execution. His work advances understanding of behavioural nudges and the unintended consequences of norm exaggeration in organisational contexts. Beyond the application of nudges in organisations, his research interests include knowledge management, employee well-being and engagement, and workplace inequalities. His research has been published in leading peer-reviewed international journals, including the Journal of Knowledge Management and Management Decision, and his work has received multiple best paper awards at conferences including the Indian Academy of Management conferences 2024 and 2023 and the IIM Indore – GIZ conference 2022. Before earning his doctorate, he completed his Master in Business Administration in Human Resources from Symbiosis Centre for Management & Human Resource Development, Pune and Bachelor in Technology in Computer Science & Engineering from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, NOIDA. Previously, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Jindal Global Business School, O.P. Jindal Global University. He also brings prior industry experience from his managerial role in human resources at Jardine Lloyd Thompson (now Marsh & McLennan) and consulting assignment with Asian Paints, allowing him to integrate rigorous scholarship with practical organisational insights in both research and teaching.
