Biography

Dr Abhay Pant is an Associate Professor at Jindal School of Banking & Finance, OP Jindal Global University. Prior to joining Jindal School of Banking & Finance, he has worked as an Assistant Professor at various institutions of national importance of Govt of India such as Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati and Indian Institute of Management Rohtak. He holds a PhD (FPM) degree from the Indian Institute of Management Indore and an M.A in financial economics from Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics Pune and B Sc in economics from Symbiosis International University Pune. He is the recipient of the Symbiosis School of Economics Distinguished Alumni Award. His teaching interests include Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Financial Economics, Corporate Finance, Applied Econometrics, Accounting, Financial Systems, Fintech and Bank Management. His articles have appeared in reputed outlets in ABDC, Scopus and ABS journal listing.
