Biography

Abhishek Kumar is a faculty in the Finance & Accounting Area at the Jindal School of Banking and Finance. He teaches courses on Corporate Finance, Risk & Insurance, and Indirect Taxation. He completed his PhD in the ‘Finance & Accounting’ Area from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow. His thesis discusses the institutional factors that explain the cross-country variation in IPO underpricing, aftermarket performance of foreign IPOs, and the impact of financial regulations on primary markets. His research interests include Primary Markets, Corporate Finance, and Investment Banking. Prior to his PhD, He completed his B.com (Hons.)  and M.com (Finance) from the University of Delhi.
