Biography

Neha Malik is a Lecturer at the Jindal School of Banking & Finance (JSBF), O.P. Jindal Global University, Haryana, India. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in finance from the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. Her research focuses on corporate finance and sustainable development.

During her tenure at IIT Delhi, she served as a teaching assistant for several courses in accounting and finance. Her research contributions have been published in prestigious international journals, including the Journal of Cleaner Production (ABDC-A) and Business Strategy and the Environment (ABDC-A). Neha has presented her work at numerous notable conferences organised by eminent institutes, such as the World Finance Conference at the University of Agder, Norway; the 14th Financial Markets and Corporate Governance Conference at Monash University, Malaysia; the Finance and Accounting Symposium at the University of Westminster; and the International Conference on Emerging Trends in Business Analytics & Management Sciences (BAMS-ORSI) at IIM Bombay, with a focus on sustainability and corporate finance. She has also worked as a research assistant for the project titled “Technical Textile Industry in India: Opportunities and Challenges” sponsored by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India (GOI) undertaken at IIT Delhi.

Prior to her doctoral studies, Neha earned her Master of Commerce (M.Com) degree from the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com Hons.) from Keshav Mahavidyalaya, University of Delhi. She cleared the UGC-NET examination on her first attempt in 2019 and is a recipient of the UGC Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and IIT Delhi’s Research Scholars Travel Award.

Awarded the Research Scholar Travel Award (RSTA) by the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi for presenting papers at international conferences (amounting to Rs. 2,00,000) in 2023.
