Biography

Dr. Deeksha Garg is an Assistant Professor at Jindal School of Banking & Finance, JGU. Prior to it, She worked as an Assistant Professor at Christ University for almost 3 years. During her stint at Christ University, she took subjects like Fintech, Corporate Finance, Financial Markets & Institutions (FMI) for their flagship programme BBA Fintech & other undergraduate courses. She holds a Ph.D. in the area of derivatives from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology. She has completed M.Com from Ramjas College and BCom Hons from Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi. Dr Garg’s scholarly contributions have earned her significant accolades, such as Best Paper award in IIM Trichy, honorarium of INR 5000 received from SEBI NISM Conference (Mumbai) and Best Paper award in Research Colloquium at Christ University. She was one of the Directors of Rotaract Club at Delhi School of Economics. She has a keen interest in social work, active learning strategies and innovative teaching pedagogies. She has publications in ABDC and SCOPUS indexed journals. Her research areas include asset pricing, startup finance and derivatives.
