Ph.D. (Indian Institute of Technology (ISM),  Dhanbad)

Biography

Dr. Pandey received a Ph.D. in Statistics from the esteemed Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad in 2021. Throughout his academic journey, he has encountered numerous transformative experiences that have shaped his knowledge and expertise in the realm of Statistics. It addresses the problem of estimating the population parameters in the presence and absence of missing observations in sample surveys under various sampling schemes. His research interests include computational statistics, parameter estimation, survey sampling. He has had the privilege to engage in diverse research projects, enabling him to acquire invaluable skills in data analysis and statistical modelling. Also, he has published several research papers in reputed international journals  and presented papers at national and international conferences held at IITs.
His teaching interest includes Quantitative Techniques for Managers, Business Statistics, Applied Statistics, Advanced Statistics, Operations Research, , Research Methodology and Report Writing, Mathematical Statistics, Business Research Methods, Probability and Statistics, Statistical Inference, Sampling Theory, Design of Experiments, etc.

Before joining Jindal School of Banking & Finance (JSBF) at O.P. Jindal Global University (Institution of Eminence, Ministry of Education Govt. of India), Dr. Pandey worked as an Assistant Professor at School of Business, UPES Dehradun and DIT University Dehradun. Besides, this he was the Research Coordinator at DIT University Dehradun, Course Coordinator for BBA Analytics & Big Data at School of Business, UPES Dehradun. He also worked on DST-sponsored projects as Project Fellow at DST-CIMS, BHU Varanasi, and IIT (ISM), Dhanbad.
