Dr. Chavi Asrani is Assistant Professor and Assistant Dean (Outreach & Promotion) at Jindal School of Banking & Finance. She has previously worked at Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations, Institute of Economic Growth, EY, Fore School of Management, University of Delhi, Bennett University, University of London and Symbiosis School of Economics. She has also made online courses for EBC learning and Great learning Her research interest is in economic policy relating to ICT for development; regulation and competition issues in the digital markets; and development economics. She has published in peer reviewed international and national journals, besides in popular media. She holds a PhD degree from IIT-Delhi, Masters in Economics with a Gold medal from Loyola College, Chennai and undergraduate degree in Economics from Hansraj College, University of Delhi. Her doctoral work on digital communications was recognised as the best doctoral work at the XII Indian Subcontinent Decision Sciences Institute conference and her essay on policy and regulatory challenges on digital markets was identified as best writing by the Competition Commission of India, Government of India.
