JSAA offers unique Dual Degree Architecture Masters with University of Adelaide

The Jindal Adelaide Architecture pathway is the first and only architecture course of study in India designed to graduate global architects eligible for licensure across Australia, New Zealand, India, and other countries.

After completing their first three years at Jindal School of Art & Architecture, students will transfer to the Undergraduate Programme in Bachelor of Architectural Design at the University of Adelaide in the fourth year. Upon the satisfactory completion of the fourth year of studies, students will receive their Bachelor of Architectural Design from the University of Adelaide and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) Built Environment Studies from OP Jindal Global University. Students will then proceed to the two-year Professional Master of Architecture Programme at the University of Adelaide for completing a professional graduate degree in Architecture.

FACILITIES

Digital Centre

Students at JSAA will have fulltime access to high end workstations, 3-d printer, printer-scanner, plotters, DSLR cameras, wide-angle and telephoto lenses for developing and producing their work. They will also learn to work on various software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Autodesk, Bentley Suite, ArcGIS and ENVI.

FABRICATION LAB

Here students will learn to work with various materials and give physical form to their ideas. They will be trained to work with both hand held and fixed fabrication equipment, along with 3D software.

ENVIRONMENT RESEARCH LAB

Here students will learn about various materials, their strengths, usability and areas of application. This will include both natural and man-made resources such as soil, wood, sand, timber, concrete, brick, cement and many others.

CONSTRUCTION YARD AND LAB

Students will learn about various typologies and techniques of construction and structural systems. They will work simultaneously with machine equipment and software for designing structural systems.

Admissions Requirement

Successful completion of the Class 12 examination in any Stream from an Indian or Recognized international board (CBSE | ISE | State Board | Cambridge | IB | NIOS). (Please note: For IB, a student must secure a diploma, and for Cambridge, a minimum of 24 credits is mandatory).
Admission to the programme is through a competitive process conducted over three rounds:

1. The application form

2. Jindal Creative Aptitude Test (the entrance exam) or Qualified UCEED

3. An interview process that includes a portfolio review.

Note - All the applicants who clear rounds 1 and 2 will receive the invite to appear in the Interview and portfolio review.
