The BBA (Hons.) – Financial Markets Business Programme at Jindal Global Business School (JGBS) is a comprehensive four-year undergraduate degree programme designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required for a successful career in the financial markets industry. The course curriculum is designed to provide students with a deep understanding of financial markets, institutions, and related products and services.

In the first two years, the programme focuses on developing a strong foundation in basic business concepts, including accounting, economics, finance, management, and marketing. Students will also gain a strong understanding of the various financial instruments, such as equity, debt, derivatives, and money market products.

In the third and fourth years, students will be exposed to more advanced topics such as portfolio management, financial modeling, risk management, and financial analysis. They will also have the opportunity to specialise in specific areas of interest, such as equity research, fixed income research, or investment banking.

The programme also includes experiential learning opportunities such as internships, industry projects, and case studies. Students will have access to real-world experiences that will help them gain practical insights into the workings of the financial markets.

Duration- 4 years

Successful completion of Class XII or equivalent examination in any stream from an Indian or International Board (CBSE | ISC | State Board | NIOS | CAIE* | IB**) recognized by AIU – Association of Indian Universities.

* CAIE (Cambridge Assessment International Education)
(The candidate must have passed the Examination equivalent to the Grade 10 with a Minimum of 5 subjects including English & the candidate must have passed the A Level examination with 2/3 subjects at Advanced Level)

** IB (International Baccalaureate) Diploma / Course (Certificate) students must secure a minimum of 24 Credits with 3 HL (Higher Learning) & 3 SL (Standard Learning) subjects.

Applicants are selected through a holistic admission process conducted over three rounds based on X and XII grades, Supplementary Questions, Entrance Exam (SAT ≥ 1100 Score | ACT ≥ 27 Points | UGAT/ CUET ≥ 60 Percentile or Online JSAT (Jindal Scholastic Aptitude Test) ≥ 50 Percentage, conducted by JGU.

Round 1- Application Assessment

• To start your application register with an active email address. Your login details will be sent to this email account after due verification. All relevant information will be communicated to the applicant at this registered email address.

• The applicant should provide all the information sought in the application, both in the mandatory and non-mandatory sections, as it will help in better evaluation.

• Please keep scanned copies of the following documents handy for uploading:
  • Class X Board Scores or Equivalent and Class XII Board Scores or Equivalent (if completed)
  • Passport Size Photograph
  • Competitive exam score

X and XII Board Exam Scores

• Applicants are required to upload their Grades/Scores for class 10th (or equivalent) and class 12th (or equivalent). If the applicant does not have their Class XII grades/scores at the time of applying, he/she may mention ‘Awaited’ in the relevant column. Please note that the candidature of the application is decided taking broader patterns into consideration.

Supplementary Questions

• For each programme, applicants will be asked to answer 2 mandatory questions.

• Note: If you apply for multiple programmes, you have a different set of supplemental questions for each programme.

Passport Size Photograph

• Please upload the recent front-facing picture with a neutral background. Selfies not permissible. 

Qualifying Competitive Examination Score

• Mention the relevant score (JSAT / ACT / SAT / UGAT / CUET - 2026) in the application form.

• If an applicant is yet to appear for any qualifying examinations or is awaiting the examination results, he/she may click ‘Awaited’ in the relevant column. 

• Students who have not appeared for SAT / ACT / UGAT / CUET – 2026 are encouraged to apply through JSAT – Jindal Scholastic Aptitude Test.

Supported Documents for Extra-Curricular Activities

• The applicant can attach relevant documents (certificates, artwork, writing samples, letters of recommendation, etc.) for the extra-curricular section to substantiate the listed activities.

• Click Submit at the end, after you pay the application fee and complete the form.

• An Online Application Number will be displayed upon successful submission of the form by making the payment. The applicant must use the ‘Application Number’ as a reference while communicating with us.

Round 2- Online Entrance Examination

• Applicants who have advanced to Round 2 will have to follow the below mentioned steps

Appearing for Entrance Exam (JSAT)

• Students qualifying the minimum cut-off requirements in the entrance will be notified over call/e-mail and shall move to Round 3.

Round 3- Online Faculty Interview

• Applicants will be interviewed by a panel of JGBS faculty members. They are evaluated based on their communication skills, confidence, curiosity, clarity of expression, nuanced thinking, and subject knowledge.

Important Notes:

• Candidates shortlisted after Interview shall receive a Provisional Offer of Admissions over email.
• If an applicant does not respond within the stipulated time their application is declared inactive.
• Candidates who are willing to enroll are required to pay the registration fee of Rs. 1,25,000 to secure a seat.
• After the declaration of Board results, students need to forward their transcripts to the Admission Staff.
• Students qualifying for the Scholarship will be notified separately over email and their respective amount is adjusted in their 2nd Semester fee.

Waitlisted Applicants

• Applicants may also be waitlisted depending on their results. Waitlisted applicants are requested to upload their XII results as soon as they are released. Such applicants may also be asked to do an additional interview.
