The job profiles for business analysts vary from general-purpose roles to specialized roles such as data analyst, market analyst, financial analyst, and HR analyst. Data analysts monitor data quality metrics and ensure business data and reporting needs are met. Market analysts conduct competitor analyses and analyze product lines and overall profitability to improve consumer experiences. Financial analysts collaborate with IT teams to develop initiatives that optimize costs and generate higher ROI. HR analysts develop payroll systems and reduce employee attrition.
Business analytics professionals have ample job opportunities across various sectors such as MNCs, retailers, manufacturers, IT firms, telecom companies, e-commerce firms, consultancies, and business analytics and intelligence firms. These organizations recruit skilled business analysts to assess business processes, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions to improve overall performance.
JGBS offers its students a variety of international immersion and articulation pathways to enhance their global exposure and career prospects. For undergraduate (UG) students, there are articulation options to Australia (2+2) and the USA (3+1), which means that they can transfer their credits earned at JGBS to a partner university in these countries and complete their degree there. This not only gives them a global perspective but also the opportunity to study and experience different cultures.
Postgraduate (PG) students have the option of pursuing an articulation programme in Singapore, Canada, the UK, and Australia, allowing them to earn a degree from two different universities. Additionally, there is a full semester exchange programme with partner universities across the UK, Canada, Australia, the US, and the Middle East.
