The BBA (Hons.) Degree at JGBS is a four-year, fully residential programme offering a global business management perspective. Our innovative pedagogy focuses on multidisciplinary, allowing students to engage in cross-listed electives from the second year, alongside peers from various JGU schools. This enriches their learning with diverse perspectives.

The curriculum grants students the flexibility to select electives in their final year based on their evolving interests, embodying a liberal and globally-oriented approach. The programme highlights international opportunities like the Student Abroad Program (SAP), alongside a strong industry focus and career growth support, including competitive exam preparation.

  • JGBS has fostered partnerships with leading corporates to provide industry-relevant education and desired corporate exposure for its students. The school has partnered with IBM and KPMG to give students hands-on training. JGU also offers merit-based scholarships on a first-cum-first-serve basis to students applying through class 12th scores.
Programme Structure

The BBA (Hons.) Marketing / HR / Finance programme at JGBS is a comprehensive four-year undergraduate course designed to provide students with a strong foundation in business and management principles, as well as specialized knowledge in their chosen field of study.

The course is divided into eight semesters, with each semester comprising of various core and elective courses. The core courses cover fundamental business concepts such as marketing, finance, accounting, human resources, and operations management. The electives, on the other hand, allow students to specialize in their area of interest, such as digital marketing, brand management, HR analytics, and financial planning.

In addition to the core and elective courses, the course also includes experiential learning opportunities such as internships, case studies, and simulations. This helps students to gain practical insights into the business world and prepares them for the challenges of the industry.

The course structure also includes courses on leadership development, communication skills, and ethics, which aim to develop students’ soft skills and enhance their overall personality. Furthermore, the curriculum is designed to provide a global perspective, with courses on international business and cross-cultural management.

Eligibility & Selection Process

Successful Completion of Class XII examination or equivalent (CBSE, ISC, IB, Cambridge, and other government-recognized school leaving examinations). Students securing more than SAT (1100 Marks) / ACT (27 Points) / UGAT or CUET – 60 Percentile & Above) are exempted from the JSAT (Jindal Scholastic Aptitude Test) entrance exam.

Imbibing the best practices from international universities, Jindal Global Business School follows a holistic admission process. An applicant is evaluated on the basis of a combination of Academic and non-academic performance scores.

The selection process of BBA (Hons.), BBA. (Hons.)- Business Analytics, BBA (Hons.) Financial Markets, BBA(Hons.) Family Business, Integrated BBA (Hons.)+MBA involves evaluation based on an applicant’s, Supplementary questions, Class X and XII scores, faculty interview, and JSAT/SAT/ACT/UGAT/CUET -2024

The online admission process for JGBS undergraduate programmes for the academic year 2024 is open. Please find the details of the selection process below.

Round 1- Application Assessment

  • To start your application, Apply Now and register with an active email address. Your login details will be sent to this email account after due verification. All relevant information will be communicated to the applicant at this registered email address.
  • The applicant should provide all the information sought in the application, both in the mandatory and non-mandatory sections, as it will help in better evaluation
  • Please keep scanned copies of the following documents handy for uploading
    • Class X Board Scores or Equivalent and Class XII Board
    • Scores or Equivalent (if completed)
    • Supplementary Applications
    • Passport Size Photograph
    • Competitive exam score

X and XII Board Exam Scores

  • Applicants are required to upload their Grades/Scores for class 10th (or equivalent) and class 12th (or equivalent). If the applicant does not have their Class XII grades/scores at the time of applying, he/she may mention ‘Awaited’ in the relevant column. Please note that the candidature of the application is decided taking broader patterns into consideration.

Supplementary Questions

  • For each programme, applicants will be asked to answer 2 mandatory questions.
  • Note: If you apply for multiple programmes, you have a different set of supplemental questions for each programme.

Passport Size Photograph

  • Please upload the recent front-facing picture(2 X 2) with a neutral background. Selfies not permissible. 

Qualifying Examination Score

  • Mention the relevant score(JSAT/ACT/SAT/UGAT/CUET-2024) in the application form
  • If an applicant is yet to appear for any qualifying examinations or is awaiting the examination results, he/she may click ‘Awaited’ in the relevant column. 
  • Students who have not appeared for SAT / ACT / UGAT / CUET – 2024 are encouraged to apply through JSAT – Jindal Scholastic Aptitude Tes

Supported Documents for Extra-Curricular Activities

  • The applicant can attach relevant documents (certificates, artwork, writing samples, letters of recommendation, etc.) for the extra-curricular section to substantiate the listed activities.
  • Click Submit at the end, after you pay the application fee and complete the form.
  • An Online Application Number will be displayed upon successful submission of the form by making the payment. The applicant must use the ‘Application Number’ as a reference while communicating with us

Round 2- Entrance Examination

  • Applicants who have advanced to Round 2 will have to follow the below mentioned steps

Appearing for Entrance Exam(JSAT)

  • Students qualifying the minimum cutoff requirements in the entrance will be notified over call/e-mail and shall move to Round 3

Round 3- Faculty Interview

  • Applicants will be interviewed by a panel of JGBS faculty members. They are evaluated based on their Communication skills, confidence, curiosity, clarity of expression, and nuanced thinking

Important Instructions

  • Candidates shortlisted after Interview shall receive a Provisional Offer of Admissions over email
  • If an applicant does not respond within the stipulated time their application is declared inactive.
  • Candidates who are willing to enroll are required to pay the registration fee to secure a seat.

  • After the declaration of Board results, students need to forward their transcripts to the Admission Staff
  • Students qualifying for the Scholarship will be notified separately over email and their respective amount is adjusted in their 2nd Semester fee.
  • We follow the UGC guidelines for the refund as per the regulations.

Waitlisted Applicants

  • Applicants may also be waitlisted depending on their results. Waitlisted applicants are requested to upload their XII results as soon as they are released. Such applicants may also be asked to do an additional interview.

*The Tuition fee, accommodation charges and other allied service charges are subject to an annual increase of ten percent (10%).

**The security deposit will be fully refunded, subject to the completion of studies and/or receipt of a ‘No Dues Certificate’. The security deposit shall not carry any interest.
