Biography

Professor (Dr.) Akshay Agrawal specializes in Numerical Methods, Mathematical Modelling, Algorithm Development, and Optimization. With a Ph.D. and M.S. from the University of Houston, his doctoral dissertation focused on optimization of plane wave directions in PWDG methods. Since then, Dr. Akshay has worked in research spanning various areas of applied mathematics. Over the years he has supervised complex distributed computing systems and collaborated in research projects spanning the fields of Biology, Computer Science, Financial Mathematics, and Engineering. Dr. Akshay is proficient in MATLAB, Python, and C/C++ and has extensive experience in Statistical Computing, Big Data Analysis, and Machine Learning. He has held roles at the University of Texas at El Paso and Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University.  Dr. Akshay is dedicated to integrating advanced mathematical techniques into practical applications and has been published in respected journals and presented at international conferences.
