Dr. Nooria Rehman is an Assistant Professor at IIHEd, OP Jindal Global University. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics of Education from Jawaharlal Nehru University; her research explored the dynamics of the private coaching industry. She also has M.Phil. In Economics of Education from Jawaharlal Nehru University where she studied financing in higher education. Prior to her current role, she served as an Assistant Professor at Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies and Sharda University, teaching courses in BA Economics (Honors), M.A. Economics and BBA.
She has published with Oxford University Press and Emerald publishing. Her research has been accepted for publication in Routledge. Her research interests are in the areas of shadow education, online education, and the integration of augmented reality tools in higher education. Dr. Rehman has presented her research at several national and international conferences.
In addition to her academic work, Dr. Rehman has served as a consultant for NCERT, analysing textbooks and developing e-content for secondary education. She has also contributed to projects on scholarship schemes for marginalized communities and the social science research environment in India.
