Professor (Dr.) S. P. Singh is the founder Vice-Chancellor of The Assam Royal Global University, Guwahati is presently serving the third tenure as Vice – Chancellor of this University. Prof. Singh has been heading Institutions of repute since the last 22 years and is having 34 years of experience in teaching and research. Prior to his current position, Prof. Singh was the Director Sherwood College of Management & Vice Chairman of Sherwood Group of Institution, Lucknow from 2001 to 2009. He also worked as founder Director of Royal Group of Institutions, Guwahati from 2009 to 2013 and later also served with Amity Group as Senior Vice President and founder Vice – Chancellor of Amity University, Chhattisgarh from 2013 to 2016. Prof. Singh was the former member of the Executive Council of Dibrugarh University as honourable governor’s nominee, Assam Task Force. Presently, Prof. Singh is active member of the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) – India chapter since 2019 and had been conferred with the ‘Ambassador for Peace’ award by UPF – South Korea, Member of Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) National Expert Committee on Higher Education & Training. On 1st November 2022, Prof. Singh has been appointed as a Global Vice President (GVP) of Sun Moon University, South Korea. Prof. Singh has been appointed as an Academic Consultant with Association of Indian Universities (AIU) in May 2023, Honourable member of Equivalence Committee of AIU and Governing Council member AIU, in July 2023.
