Professor (Dr.) Manisha Priyam is Professor of Education Policy at the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration, New Delhi. She is a Senior Academic and Researcher, and works on issues of development and politics. She has a doctorate from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), in International Development, where she examines the politics of education policy reforms in a comparative perspective. Priyam has served on various national and international committees— Member of the Gender Budgeting Committee, Ministry of Women and Child Development, GoI, since 2019; the Australia-India Research Fellowship Steering Committee for Doctoral Fellowships, since 2022; Institutes of Eminence Evaluation Committee, 2022.
