Professor (Dr.) Malish. C.M is an Assistant Professor at the Ashank Desai Centre for Policy Studies at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. He is a former faculty member at the Centre for Policy Research in Higher Education (CPRHE) at the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA) in New Delhi. He holds a Ph.D. in sociology from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi. His research interests include education policy, equity, diversity, student success, EduTech platforms and intermediary organisations in higher education. He has completed two large-scale national-level studies focusing on the issues of access, diversity, discrimination and student success in higher education. He has conducted extensive and intensive fieldwork in colleges and universities in various parts of the country. He is currently serving as Review Editor of Frontiers of Education.
