Professor (Dr.) Tatiana Belousova is an Assistant Professor at Jindal School of International Affairs (JSIA), OP Jindal Global University. She teaches the following courses: IR Theory & Concepts; War, Peace, and Diplomacy; and The New Cold War between US and China. In JSIA, Tatiana is a member of the School Doctoral Committee, as well as the Institution of Eminence (IoE) Committee.
In the year 2019, she received her PhD degree at the University of Kerala, Department of Political Science. Her thesis was ‘State Public Policy and Internationalization of Higher Education in Kerala.’ Prior to this, Tatiana completed her post-graduate studies at the St. Petersburg State University (Russia), Department of World Economy. From 2005 to 2012, she participated in a number of capacity building programmes in Australia, EU, and India.
Tatiana’s research interest is Russian foreign policy, i.e., Russia’s regional and international engagements in the context of rising Global South. At present, she focuses on the Russia-South Africa bilateral ties through the constructivist explanation of ‘states’ identities.’
Dr. Belousova is a reviewer for the African and Asian Studies (Brill publisher). She also contributes to The Hindu newspaper.
