Do I need to submit official transcripts and certificates when I apply?

You will have to attach scanned copies of all your transcripts and certificates in your online Application Form. It is mandatory to attach your grade X transcript. Students who have appeared for qualifying examinations and are waiting for examination results can put “results awaited” in the relevant column.

While filling out the Non-Academic Activities and Engagement section, it is recommended that you attach whatever certificates you have. If you wish your participation to be considered for evaluation, you will be required to furnish the certificates at the time of the Interview Round.

What are the criteria for selection into the Undergraduate Programme?

Jindal Global University (JGU) pursues a holistic admissions policy for most programmes. A holistic admissions policy seeks to understand the whole applicants beyond numbers and asks whether an applicant will be a good fit in a programme and whether they will thrive. This is in keeping with the best practices of international universities and allows us to select the best applicants for our programmes.

What are the academic scores that have to be submitted for evaluation?

Students are required to submit their grade X, XI, and XII final exam scores. In case they are applying before their grade XII final/ board exam results are available, students must submit grade XII predicted scores.

What are the predicted grades/scores?

Students who are awaiting their grade XII final/ board exam results are required to submit their predicted grades. Predicted grades are supposed to be an accurate estimation of a student’s final grades. For students from the IB, Cambridge, and other International boards, the school counsellor must submit the predicted grades on behalf of the student. The process to do this is mentioned in the application form. Students from other boards may submit their predictions, or share the school counsellor’s predictions.

How can I check the status of my application?

When you submit your Application Form, you will receive an automated email saying that your application has been submitted. After the application submission, if you have been shortlisted for the Interview Round, you will receive the interview invitation via email on your registered email ID.
