The 7th National Law School Negotiation Mediation & Client Counselling competition saw a number of wins by students from Jindal Global Law School (JGLS).
NLS NMC enables students who are passionate about Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) to hone their talent, connect with other students, lawyers or ADR experts from across the world to have the most memorable and enjoyable experience by participating in a global event that adheres to the highest standards.
Rusha Ghosh Dastidar and Stuti Garg from JGLS were declared winners out of 24 teams in the Negotiation segment of the competition.
“Winning the competition is one of the biggest moments of our law school journey, with Jindal Global Law School emerging as winners for the first time in this negotiation competition. We are proud to be a part of this legacy and look forward to representing India at the International Negotiation Competition hosted by the National University of Singapore”, they said.
JGLS was also the winner of the Mediation (Client-Attorney) segment with a team consisting of Aditya Krishna, Rebecca Cardoso, Jayant Suri, and Parshva Chandok. Aditya and Rebecca were the oralists for all the rounds and obtained the highest overall score in the preliminary rounds.
On winning the segment, the team said, “We are extremely proud to win this competition and take great pleasure in congratulating the team and the coaches for their outstanding performance, dedication and passion.”
