The University’s Research Grants Policy is aimed at promoting a rigorous research culture, supporting knowledge creation, and undertaking socially-relevant research. The JGU Research Grants Committee administers the award of short, medium, and long term grants to faculty members. Previous and current faculty research projects that have been funded by JGU grants include consumer vulnerability, the India Public Policy Report, and e-governance and urban poverty. JGU earmarks 20% of its annual research budget to support student research projects and activities that include annual student research colloquiums.
